My name is Will. I'm a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu loving, weight lifting addicted, animal loving, outdoors adventuring, camera nerd. I love to train hard, document the journey, and use it to show that you can be muscular without eating animals. I went vegan after a big spine fusion surgery. I rebuilt this vegan body from scratch stronger than it ever was as a meat eater. Plant powered ;)
When I was 14 I asked my dad for a paintball gun for Christmas. He explained how a weight bench would benefit me for many years to come while a paintball gun would probably only be fun for a few years. I wanted to get stronger for high school wrestling so I changed my mind on the paintball gun. 33 years later and I'm still pressing weight on the bench. Thanks, Dad!
I initially went plant-based because I was seeking relief from joint and neck pain as my spine fusion left me in incredible amounts of pain, but came to learn about animal ethics thanks to my amazing wife, Marki. It's been a journey and I wouldn't change a thing.
My biggest motivation is striving to be the best version of myself. We don't climb mountains to slip off the side. We climb to get to the top. I'm climbing and refuse to let myself slide. And now I'm not only climbing for myself, but for animals as well. I think when others rely on you to do well, that pushes you to the next level.
My biggest achievement was marrying Marki. She's changed my life for the good in so many different ways. I was a completely different person before her. Much of my success happened once we became a couple and I'm forever grateful for it.
I'm always on the go and Vedge Nutrition helps keep me on my game. All of the products taste amazing and mesh very well into my lifestyle of weight lifting and grappling. I like convenience with quality and Vedge does exactly that for me.
Go-to Cheat Meal: General Tso's Tofu with white rice and mixed steamed veggies....but ALOT of it lol. That never gets old to me.
